Have you been to the dentist recently? Well it was my first time with a new dentist in a long time. So much is written about cosmetic dentistry and pain less dentistry that a regular old dentist is becoming 0bsolete.- The old dentist was just fine and in fact, was much better than fine. He was really good. He took pride in the fact that he was successful in being a dentist and thought it was similar to being an engineer. He had to build bridges, crowns, fill holes with different mediums and level everything up so that you can still eat.
- This new dentist uses a procedure that fills your prepared teeth really quickly. It is free of lead and any other metal and is white. He works with an assistant and uses the latest dental equipment.
- He said he was in the third year of college and did not know what he wanted to major in nor what he was interested in doing the rest of his life. His dad practices cosmetic dentistry. His dad asked him to come to his office and spend the day observing and see if he has any interest in dentistry.
- His biggest interest at that time was making models. He made model boats, planes, trains and automobiles. He realized that dentistry involved model making both in art and engineering. He thought that might be a fun occupation. He didn't think that he would object to spending most of his working life looking backwards in a very small mirror.
- He learned his trade, dentistry, completed his mandatory schooling and received his medical degree and certification from the state. At that point, he had to relearn much of his trade depending on the type of equipment he purchased for his office.
- Fortunately, this dentist is young and enjoys his work and is satisfied with the income. He will likely stay in business for some time to come.
Frankie says get your teeth cleaned and keep good dental hygene. You only get one permanent set of teeth. Don't treat them badly and they can last you a lifetime. Too blessed to be stressed. F
